Couples & Relational Therapy

Couples Therapy

Relationships can be deeply rewarding, but they can also feel challenging, confusing, and at times, painful. You may find yourselves stuck in the same arguments, struggling to communicate, feeling unheard, or becoming increasingly distant from one another. Trust may have been affected, or you may simply feel that something has shifted and you’re not quite sure how to find your way back.

In couples therapy, I provide a balanced and supportive space where both partners can feel heard and understood. My role is not to take sides, but to help you explore the dynamic between you — how you communicate, how you respond to one another, and the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

Together, we will begin to identify cycles of interaction, emotional triggers, and underlying needs that often sit beneath conflict. By understanding what is really happening between you, it becomes possible to move away from blame and towards greater clarity, empathy, and connection.

I work relationally, drawing on psychodynamic understanding to explore how past experiences, attachment styles, and learned patterns may be influencing your relationship in the present. This can help make sense of why certain situations feel so charged and why the same difficulties may keep repeating.

My approach is honest, supportive, and at times gently challenging. I will help you both slow things down, communicate more effectively, and begin to rebuild trust and understanding where needed. The aim is not just to resolve conflict, but to create a stronger, more secure connection where both partners feel valued, respected, and able to be themselves.

Whether you are in crisis or simply want to strengthen your relationship, couples therapy can offer a space to reflect, reset, and move forward together.
